Holidaymakers looking for a charming village in Brittany, can turn to Auray (less than 20 minutes away) not far from our campsite in Morbihan. This small town of character has all the ingredients to give its visitors a change of scenery thanks to its river that runs through the village, its rich medieval and maritime past and its cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses that stand alongside the stone ones. Auray is also much appreciated for its atmosphere; between its street shows, the port of St Goustan, its flea markets, etc... Discover during your family holidays, at the Dolmen campsite in Carnac, the Port de Vannes, the marina is one of the most active among those of the South Brittany coast. Between two visits, take superb photos in front of the half-timbered houses and their atypical colour.
Voted the most beautiful village in France, and better known than the village of Auray, Rochefort-en-Terre will also be an essential stopover during your stay in Morbihan. The Fêtes d'Arvor :
You travel by camping in Morbihan during the period mid-August, discover during 3 days the Fêtes d'Arvor. Created in 1928, they are the oldest festivals in Brittany, an event with parades in traditional costumes from different circles in the region, fest-noz (an opportunity to learn a few dance steps). Federating thousands of people with the coronation of the Queen of Arvor on August 15th on the steps of the Town Hall, this festival will entertain you during your stay in Morbihan.
